For more than 30 years, Smartamine® M has set the benchmark for reliable methionine delivery and consistent results, supported by extensive scientific research and used in the diets of 2.5 million cows worldwide. Smartamine® MAX builds on that legacy.
Smartamine MAX combines two patented technologies: a unique methionine core formulation and a pH-sensitive, biopolymer-based coating that protects methionine through the rumen and enables targeted release for absorption.

In vivo evaluations at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) guided the development and refinement of Smartamine MAX to deliver 64% metabolizable methionine (mMet), above the 60% industry benchmark.

Rigorous quality control in every industrial batch
Smartamine® MAX undergoes a rigorous three-step quality control process to ensure consistent delivery of metabolizable methionine. Our proprietary laboratory methods are calibrated against bioavailability measurements in lactating cow trials at UNH and verify each critical specification.
Every batch must pass all three steps before it is released for sale.
